  Review summary: The Olympus FE-310 is an entry level digital camera. It has 8 megapixels and a 5x optical zoom lens. Its main attractions are the fact it has a longer than standard zoom, its ease of use and its relatively low price tag.
  
  Pros: Extra zoom on an entry level model - simple and easy to use
  
  Cons: Slow shutter response is a problem - lower light focusing - focusing towards the edge of a photo
  
  Verdict: Overall the FE-310 performs quite well for an entry level digital camera. There are one or two areas where it falls short, but this is to be expected from a cheaper camera. It scores well for ease of use and I also like the longer than standard zoom lens.
