      Navman S90i

      By Staff writers

Review summary: Smart, clever and capable. A couple of imperfections keep it off the top spot, and we might be tempted by the camera-less S70, but it's a fine choice

Pros: Clean design. Good screen and interface

Cons: Do you need the camera?

Verdict: The S90i also has a 4.3in screen, but adds a 2MP camera for use with Navman's NavPix feature. This aligns photos with locations, to make it easier to navigate to them

Navman S90i | Our Review | TechRadar UK

Review summary: The main map view of the Navman S90i has plenty of detail but not overwhelmingly so. It's also very grey

Pros: Value for money; Widescreen display; Built-in camera; Easy-to-use interface

Cons: Bulky; Fiddly widescreen mount; Built-in camera; Disappointing POI; Lacks flair

Verdict: Another benefit is geo-tagging. Every picture you take automatically has GPS reference information added to its metadata - enabling you and others to drive directly to that destination. Navman gives the example of tourist destinations like the Eiffel Towe

      Navman S90i Review - GPS

      By Alex Kidman

Review summary: navman s90i review: We'd love to heartily endorse the S90i but, like the spurned high school prom queen in every slasher flick ever made, its surface beauty is marred by intermittent spurts of insanity, and so we can't.

Pros: Great interface, Easy to use POI, Excellent text-to-speech, Bluetooth

Cons: Awful USB cradle, Intermittently insane directions

Verdict: We'd love to heartily endorse the S90i but, like the spurned high school prom queen in every slasher flick ever made, its surface beauty is marred by intermittent spurts of insanity, and so we can't.
